The Block Bonez project is the first and only dynamic trait collection powered by (and deployed on) the Flare Network. Holders get to customise their NFTs by overlapping traits bought in the store and fusing it to the base layer to give ultimate flexibility. Not only do you create a truly unique NFT, but you also get paid rewards based on its rarity!
A Bare Bonez NFT is the foundation which you build upon, think of it as a base layer NFT which Traits can be fused to. There will only be a maximum of 10,000 Bare Bonez to exist, with a total of 11 different variations, both in artistic style and rarity. The rarities are randomly distributed through the collection so everyone that mints a Bare Bonez NFT has an equal chance of getting something extremely valuable.
Trait NFTs will be available in the store and represent a hand crafted accessory to be fused with your Bare Bonez NFT. There are going to be numerous trait categories such as head wear, eye wear, clothing etc. Within the “head wear“ category, you can expect traits such as a top hat, exposed skull, sombrero, golden crown, just to name a few.
Rebates will be claimable for every block created on the Flare Network (1-3 seconds). You will be able to watch your Rewards accrue in real time via the Block Bonez website. Simply connect your wallet, input the Block Bone Token ID you wish to claim for, and hit the claim button, simple!
The amount accrued for each Block Bone NFT is dependant on its rarity. The Bare Bonez (base layer) NFT acts as a multiplier and each of the Trait NFTs (when fused) has a boost value. The combination of all (fused) trait bonuses multiplied by the Bare Bonez multiplier gives the final bonus rate of the NFT. The bonus rate is then used along with a time variable to calculate the emission rate, per block.
The BlockBonez project will accumulate rewards in FLR, however we wish give the choice to the holder and provide a selection of options in which you can claim, including BNZ and F-Assets!
Bonez, ticker symbol BNZ, is the native asset of our ecosystem. There are used to buy Traits, Fuse Traits, and Open "Trait Crates". It's a deflationary asset that is backed up by the Block Bonez Treasury, able to be redeemed at a later date for the contents of the Urn Wallet!
Block Bonez is a unique project in so many ways, one aspect that separates it from every else is that it gives power back to the holder, allowing you to create and customise the perfect NFT by fusing beautifully stylized traits using our “first of its kind” dynamic trait system - Powered by the Flare Network. We take the collection one step further by rewarding holders, giving the ability to claim FLR based on the rarity of the NFT(s). We have much more in the pipeline but we refrain from revealing too much at the minute, just know that big things are coming!
We chose to build on the Flare Network, not only because it is fast and cheap, but also because of its superior tech stack, which allows us to access high integrity data at scale and interoperate with other blockchain networks. We believe in an interconnected world and we aim to achieve this by utilising the State Connector and Layer Cake to facilitate functionality not achievable on other Layer 1 networks - stay tuned!
