Block Bonez started life as 10,000 fully customizable “Bare Bone” NFTs and has since evolved to become an ever-changing collection, with the growing community ultimately choosing the aesthetical direction of the project.

The Block Bonez collection started as 10,000 NFTs, consisting of 11 different varieties which represent various materials of which the skeletal structure is based upon. This is the foundation of what you can build upon and fuse traits, with each variation having an assigned rarity and reward multiplier. Block Bonez is the very first dynamic NFT collection on the Flare Network, taking the idea of customisation to brand new heights. Dynamic NFTs refer to an object that is ever changing and with our Dynamic Trait System, the Block Bonez collection, despite being based on the dead, is very much alive. Our community are constantly enhancing the look of their Bonez by Fusing traits; a process which essentially destroys the Trait and combines it with the selected Base Layer to create a newly upgraded version!
It’s important to note that the Fusion process does incur a small fee (paid in $BNZ), designed to bolster the Block Bonez Treasury which is ultimately rerouted back to our holders, more details on this later in the document (Fusion Fund)!
Bonez, ticker symbol $BNZ, is the native asset which powers the Block Bonez ecosystem and is integrated with every aspect, boasting impressive utility but that’s not all… Statisitcs Page.
$BNZ is backed by $FLR, claimable by every holder in a climactic moment for the collection in (January) 2026 when the Flare Network Airdrops complete. The funds for the $BNZ redemption are contained in a secure wallet called the “Urn” which compounds via native Flare Network rewards, catalysed by numerous project revenue streams!
What makes things even better is the fact that BNZ is also a deflationary asset, meaning the supply is always decreasing, this is at an ever increasing rate too and fuelled by the integration with various aspects of our architecture.
Traits are the Assets in which you can dress your Block Bones NFT and the selection is vast. We have a wide variety of artistically and comically impressive items, each having a rarity, quantity and also a reward value (from 1 - 20).
As there are 5 unique categories of traits, there are 5 separate slots to equip traits to your Block Bones NFT, generating a maximum total reward value of 5 * 20.
The ability to hold Block Bonez traits initially came with the launch of the Block Bonez Store. The store was filled with a range of head traits with varying rarities, quantities, reward values and prices.
After listening to our community, we decided to modify the process in which Traits can be bought with the exciting innovation now commonly referred to as “Trait Crates”
Trait Crates are NFTs which contain a random Trait and are sold in 4 different varieties / categories. Holders of Trait Crates, which are sold in both FLR and BNZ, can open their Crate to reveal its contents.
Special Traits are extremely rare, in fact they are the rarest traits of them all with each being unique. There are some great benefits to having a Block Bonez fused with a Special Trait, much beyond being the only animated NFTs in the collection.
There will be a total of 10 unique Special Traits, each with a maximum Reward Rate of 100. Special Traits span all 5 Trait Category slots, meaning no additional Traits can be fused. In addition to this, Block Bonez with Special Traits fused receive a portion of the sales of future Special Traits.
These Special Traits are sold via the Block Bonez dApp via an Auction mechanism. As mentioned above, a portion of the proceeds from the sale are sent to previous holders, however the majority is put back into the project, increasing the amount of FLR in both the Urn and Rewards Wallets.
Outside the fundamental scope of our novel customization options, the Block Bonez collection also boasts a benefit designed to emit rewards based on the rarity of your beautiful creation! Note that rewards are available for those who manage to fully fuse their Block Bonez NFT with all 5 traits.
As mentioned earlier, each Block Bonez base layer has an assigned multiplier, in conjunction with the Traits fused and their associated Reward value, a “Reward Rate” can be identified.
Sum of all Trait Values Fused x Base Layer Multiplier = Total Reward Rate.
This reward rate signifies an amount of rewards claimable every [X] amount of seconds (which will be set at a rate which guarantees project sustainability).
Generally speaking, the rarer the NFT you are able to create and the higher the base layer multiplier, the higher you can expect the Total Reward Rate to be. Note that rewards are provided by the native inflationary mechanics of the Flare Network, then Turbo-Charged by our partnerships and sustainable revenue streams such as Trait Sales and Royalties.
If you simply hold a Block Bonez NFT, regardless of base layer variety / rarity then congratulations, you’re eligible to claim BNZ, every single second. This Is something we like to call “Staking without Staking”.
We don’t believe in locking up assets in smart contracts, your Block Bonez NFTs are yours to hold in your own wallet. Have peace of mind as your assets remain in your custody and simultaneously claim Rewards for every single NFT you hold!
It’s important to highlight our dedication to bringing ultimate value to holders which we have done via numerous innovations, further solidifying Block Bonez as a leader in the NFT space on Flare. We alluded to a novel concept which we like to call the Urn Boost, a way we can distribute the $BNZ without creating sell pressure on the various Decentralised Exchanges of which we’re listed. Put simply, the Urn Boost is a method of facilitating the sales of BNZ “over the counter”, direct from the Block Bonez project. The benefits the community two fold:
Purchases of BNZ via the Urn Boost program incurs a 0% slippage, meaning those looking to accumulate larger quantities can do so at a fixed ratio, incurring 0 fees in the process, only the negligible network transaction fee.
The FLR raised form the Urn Boost is used to boost the Urn wallet, a treasury containing FLR raised via many methods which will be redeemable for anyone that holds BNZ in (January) 2026 when the monthly FLR distribution ends. If a BNZ holder had 1% of the supply, that would make them eligible to claim 1% of the Urn Wallet once activated. The rate in which the Urn wallet compounds is incomparable to average wallets.

BLOCK BONEZ DEFLATIONAs stated in our opening sentence, the Block Bonez collection started with 10,000 base layers. Fast-forward to today and the landscape is looking much different with a good chunk of the supply being burnt via the Crematorium.
Holders of Block Bonez NFTs are incentivized to Burn their NFTs in exchange for two benefits:
The benefits don’t stop there. With every Block Bonez burnt, the rarity based rewards can be shared between less NFTs, meaning the reward rate can be increased for every holder.
Our ecosystem is designed with rewarding holders which is why we committed to using FLR generated from the xToadz partnership mentioned below to buy Block Bonez NFTs off the secondary market and sending them to their fate in the Crematorium, erased for eternity, bringing further value to holders.
BNZ DEFLATIONIn addition to the deflationary pressures assigned to the Block Bonez NFTs, we also have aN interesting protocol which reduces the BNZ supply at an ever increasing rate until 2026.
A smart contract is deployed which burns BNZ every 15 minutes, all day, every day. The design of the smart contract means the rate at which BNZ is burnt can only increase, never decrease. The contract is initially fuelled by the Block Bonez team and has been (and will continue to be) bolstered by a portion of the Royalties received via secondary sales on NFT Marketplaces like xHaven.
The Fusion Fund is another treasury designed with one goal in mind, to incentivise Fusion and increase active participation / diversification of the Block Bonez project.
Just like with rarity based rewards, those who manage to fully Fuse the Block Bonez NFT (with either all 5 traits or 1 of the 10 special traits) will benefit from a share of the Fusion Fund, divided equally between all eligible NFTs in 2026 when the Fusion Process closes!
Trait Crates have become a core part of the project, ushering a wave of excitement in opening what could be an Ultra Rare, highly desirable Trait, but this process does incur a small fee in FLR.
All FLR used within the process is used to benefit Block Bonez holders, even more so for those who are active and engaged community members.
The FLR fee, via a smart contract, is immediately converted to BNZ via an integration with the Enosys Decentralised Exchange, creating an upwards pressure for our native asset every single time someone opens a Trait Crate.
It gets better. The BNZ received from his conversion is then used to add value to holders:
An asset without liquidity is a weak one, this is why we have partnered with Enosys, the top Decentralised Exchange on the Flare Network to launch liquidity pools via their “Launch Pad”.
We incentivise participation via a BNZ incentive fund, eligible to be claimed by those who join the BNZ / FLR liquidity pool and start farming. In addition to being able to claim BNZ (every second), liquidity providers will also benefit from trading fees, FLR delegation rewards and monthly Flare Airdrops.
To maintain sustainability of these rewards, the incentives consist of a portion of the royalties, meaning the more secondary sales for both Block Bonez NFTs, Traits and Trait Crates, the higher the APY for those joining the Farm.
Royalties of secondary sales are used to bring value back to Block Bonez holders by helping fuel initiatives listed above. With every sale of a Block Bonez, Trait, Special Trait or Trait Crate, the ecosystem is boosted.
In addition to further accelerating the rate of accumulation for the Urn Wallet, a portion of the Royalties are converted straight to BNZ, destined to offer incentive rewards for those who provide liquidity, specifically the FLR / BNZ pairing.

NFT CLASH / SPARK COIN PARTNERSHIPA partnership with NFT Clash, an NFT duelling dApp, brought additional utility to the collection as we debuted as the first (and only) collection integrated during their highly-anticipated launch on the Flare Network!
Their dApp allows NFTs to battle each other with a unique algorithm that offers the chance for weaker NFTs to win whilst also encouraging participation to level-up and improve your chances of success. This finally balanced game mechanic created a fun and engaging battle zone with weekly and monthly leaderboards offering changes to win some great prizes!
